A sprightly example of Loire Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is made with minimal added sulphur and fermented using the grapes’ natural yeasts. There are flavours of crunchy green apple and lime, along with notes of nettle and minerality.
Philip Derouet, raised on a vineyard in nearby Saumur Champigny, was eager to return to his vinous roots and bought a vineyard. Together with his wife and daughter, they farm with a deep respect for the particular terroir on the right bank of the Cher River, ideal for the crisp, elegant Sauvignon Blanc we love.
