Collection: Christine Stephenson

Christine was educated at St Swithin's School, Winchester and studied at Bournemouth College of Art 1953-1958, graduating with a National Diploma in Art & Design in 1957 and an art Teacher's Diploma the following year. Obtaining a Goldsmiths Post Graduate Certificate from the University of London in 1984
and in 2001 obtained her History Diploma from the University of East Anglia. She paints botanically accurate and minutely detailed plant portraits in watercolour, the paintings are concerned with texture, richness of colour and dramatic tone, always on a white paper, her works are signed C.F.S.
